In reply to Cleveland 2016 Think Outside The Convention
None of the calls to converge against the convention in Cleveland are catching on because they seem to be coming from people who think a few internet posts can recreate the counter summit era.
Not to mention, what is that Occupy Denver nonsense? No "occupy" group could really be said to have existed into the year 2013 (generously). Are these calls coming from activists on the other side of the midwest? That's even less trustworthy.
On a seperate note, I think it's important to delegitimize the entire political system, but how much does protesting the conventions actually do that? I'd say it legitimizes their spectacle as something that matters. The conventions don't.
